I know it was the BLOOD

Yes, I am uber late to the True Blood bandwagon, but a lady has officially been hooked! The whole fantasy of vampires & werewolves/werepanthers & witches is totally addicting. I also like the storyline and how the characters are growing from all the crazy event in Bon Temps.

The only thing that burns my butter is the Sookie Stackhouse character. Yeah, I said it! I just wish she wasn't so young acting & obnoxious in the series. I understand it has to do with the qualities of the character, but eh. Some of her actions, especially towards Bill during the 1st/2nd seasons, was downright dumb. ARGHH!

So do we have any CS'ers that are True Blood fans??? What are your thoughts on the current season? Did you know Sookie & Bill were married in real life??

True Blood airs Sundays at 9 pm EST on HBO.

Top 5: Martiiinnn Movies

Because I've been secluded from the world of reality tv, new series airing and new Hollywood premieres, I keep myself entertained with the movies I have on my laptop's hard drive.

In honor of the one man that never fails to give us good chucktastic cinemas:  good ole, Marty Mar!
Oh how I love him!  Besides watching his hilarious series every morning (like I've never seen the episodes), I find myself watching a Martin movie at least once a week!

And here are my Top 5 Martin Movies! (in no particular order)
You Go Boooyyyy!!!

 Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins

For real, I watch this movie everytime HBO or Showtime airs it!

Bluestreak

"I’ll tell you what, last time I left a pizza here, it magically dissapeared.. you know its like leavin candy around me. It’s not gonna be alright i’ma ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-chomp it up!"

A Thin Line Between Love and Hate

As much as I disliked Martin's character, this movie is a classic... or a learning lesson depending on how you look at it!

College Road Trip

Even though he was OVERLY protective in this movie, I really like when Martin play the parental roles!

National Security

Smh... Martin is a trip in this movie!!  His attitude towards that poor cop was horrible.... but, when I watched it the other night, I was grabbing my sides, crying laughing!!

What are your favorite Martin movies?

Rang the Alarm!!!!!

So, I got questions:

Why did I watch ALL 13+ minutes of this?!?!
Why is she KUNTREEE as hail?!!?
Why do I LOVE that??!?!
Why did I crrrrack up at whomever was doing the "Whhooooo" sound??!?
Why did I DIE at the stank guitar face?!?!
Why do I want those thigh high boots & that dress like ASAP!?!?!?
Why do I feel the need to buy a pack of skrawberry Bubblelicious and get my ghetto gum poppin on???
Why am I uber excited to see this special on TG night!

Ahhh Beyonce, you gave me low-key life on this. This was from 2006, a lil insight into her MTV awards performance. I'm not even a stan for her like that, but greatness does deserve proper recognition. Get ready folks, ya babies and grandmothas will be sanging all the hits once the special comes on TV. I'm READY!

Set ya Tivos for Thanksgiving night for the 90 min special "Beyoncé's I Am...World Tour" at 9:30 p.m.

Pleeeeaase Come Clean

*whispers with my hand up*
Whyyy ya'll does this look like the 2010 Eddie Kane plus one story?!?!

So, I see that brothers K-Ci and Jo-Jo (from the hit 90's groups Jodeci fame) are now coming out with a reality show that will follow them around for 30 days as they strive to get clean and sober from ALCOHOL.

*insert ninja please face*

Don't act like ya'll wasn't on that white too now! Tell the truth and shame that devil!

I'm really not for sure if I'm ready for the tomfoolery that WILL partake on this new show. But here is the show teaser giving you insight (and the niggardom) into their struggle to get back on track. SMH.

"K-Ci & JoJo: Come Clean" premieres on TVOne (HARD side eye) on October 19th. Lemme know how that one goes...

On Demand: TV on DVD

Five TV Series on DVD I need in My Life:

(in no particular order)

New York Undercover: This show made me want to persue a career in Criminal Justice! Oh, how I loved J.C. and Eddie! The show always had the best music at the end of each episode, too!

Sex and The City: No, I did not follow the show, but I still love the girls, and the shoes, and the fashions, and the, well, I'm sure you get my drift! I do need to catch up from the beginning.. I hear that Carrie could work a nerve..

Soul Food: The reason I didn't watch SATC, because I was too busy learning scripts! I can tell what each episode is about just from the opening song! Trust me, I'm a true Soul Food fan! Didn't really care for the movie.. but the series brought the Joseph sisters to life!

La Femme Nikita: I hearts a butt kicking, gun carrying (and knows how to actually use it), women! This series was thebombdiggity.com! So, I'm a little skeptical about the new CW series, but I'll be watching and comparing.

True Blood: Oh Em Gee!!! How could I almost forget!! Now that the season 3 finale will be airing this Sunday, its the perfect time for me to catch up on the different character's stories! Team Eric!

Dealing With Dexter

I am ready. Ready like mutha-effin Freddy. Ready for Season 5 of the hit Showtime show "Dexter". If you don't know bout this show, PLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE get on top of that. All I can say is start at season 1 Episode 4! (That's where the good stuff starts, trust me. LOL) But to my diehard Dex fans, the fun and fear starts on Sept. 24th. This trailer is super psyching me up dude!
Also, Season 4 comes out TODAY on DVD & Blueray. I'm on it!!!!
